Book Review: Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

Love stargirlu

We long to be found, hoping our searchers have not given up and gone home.

But I no longer hope to be found, Leo.

Do not follow me! Let’s just be fabulously where we are and who we are.

You be you and I’ll be me, today and today and today, and let’s trust the future to tomorrow.

Let the stars keep track of us.
Let us ride our own orbits and trust that they will meet.

May our reunion be not a finding but a sweet collision of destinies!

Love, Stargirl is a 2007 young adult novel
by Jerry Spinelli.

_______

at last! done reading the sequel to Stargirl. lovely book. Done reading it yesterday and in almost one sitting. Many times i have tried finishing it but yesterday was different. i felt like i was Stargirl. We both share the same thoughts and habits that i haven’t done for so long. i miss me. and at the last pages of the book, though Stargirl & Leo didn’t even see each other again, there is a CERTAIN hope that one day, they will meet and be together again.

YES!

i’ll be seeing U too!
